Course content
1. Basic terms of scientific educational research. 2. Research works in educational theory and school practice. 3. Types of educational research. 4. Methods of scientific work. 5. Stages of educational research. 6. Methods of educational research. 7. Method of observation. 8. Method of educational experiment. 9. Method of interview. 10. Questionnaire method. 11. Statistical methods. 12. How to elaborate a diploma thesis. 13. Formal and material aspects of a bachelor thesis. 14. Defending a bachelor thesis.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic Lecture(Interpretation, Training), Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Work with Text (with Book, Textbook), Demonstration

Learning outcomes
Research in pedagogy. Bachelor project seminar helps students to write a diploma thesis. Research methods. Application of methods on concrete case studies from preprimary school practice or other theoretical issues related with preprimary education.
Students are able to work with professional literature and the creation of an academic text.

Assessment methods and criteria
Seminar Work

During the semester students will be searching for information in groups and presenting the acquired information in the seminar. Written elaboration of theses of a bachelor thesis and their defence in classes.
