Course content
|
1. Pedagogical diagnostics as a science, its subject and tasks. Overview of areas of pedagogical diagnostics. Diagnostic competence of a teacher. 2. Overview and analysis of methods of pedagogical diagnostics (clinical and test tools), their application in diagnostic activities of kindergarten teachers. 3. Specific areas of diagnostics of preschool children - motorics, graphomotorics and drawing, sensory perception, speech, mathematical imagination, spontaneous and diddactic play, social skills.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to acquire basic diagnostic knowledge and skills of a kindergarten teacher. Students will learn the basic diagnostic methods and to lead and evaluate the diagnostic process, accentuating specific topics associated with school maturity and readiness. The selected activities will be implemented and reflected in specific pedagogical practice.

Student performance, Analysis of linguistic, Didactic Test, Systematic Observation of Student, Analyssis of the Student's Portfolio
- 80% participation in lessons - portfolio focused on diagnostics of preschool child, which demonstrates student's ability to realize and evaluate selected diagnostic methods.
