Course content
1. Game theory. 2. The concept of games that are based on theoretical concepts of social constructivism. 3. Creation of game action plan. 4. Using games as a teaching device diagnostics in relation to the educational objectives of preschool education.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic Lecture(Interpretation, Training), Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Work with Text (with Book, Textbook), Observation, Demonstration, Activating (Simulations, Games, Dramatization)
  • Attendace - 4 hours per semester
  • Semestral Work - 5 hours per semester

Learning outcomes
The course focuses on facilitating of different theories of games which gives the students the broad theoretical view into the field. Students will be acquainted with a child game in history context by different thinkers and philosophers. The students will be also acquainted with the modern game approach which is based on theoretical conception of social constructivism. Students will master the knowledge and skills for planning games as a tool of pedagogic diagnosis connected to aims of pre-school education. The student will also master the skill to use the game as a therapeutic instrument.
Students will be provided with competencies that will get to the content and objectives of the course.
Prerequisites
General orientation in education and general didactics.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student performance, Didactic Test

Students can handle subject matter in a given range. Participation in seminars 75%. Create a game set in the context of development of key competencies of preschool children.
