Course content
1. Objective and contents of education, educational documents setting the objective and contents of education. 2. Teaching process. 3. Preparation of a teacher for classes. 4. Testing and evaluation. 5. Teaching methods and principles.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Observation
  • Homework for Teaching - 5 hours per semester
  • Preparation for the Course Credit - 10 hours per semester
  • Attendace - 12 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The observation and the analysis of the educational process by the point of view of the teacher and pupils. Also the analysis of the interaction of the teacher and pupils focusing on the primary school educational theory. Students watch and analyse basic diagnostic, control and predictive activities of the teacher when preparing for the teaching and when teaching. Students analyse these by leading of the methodist od the Faculty of Education of Palacky University. The pedagogical practice is realized at fully organised schools in Olomouc. The analyses of the practice are done in the seminars.
Students will be equipped with the competencies they receive in connection with the content of the course and also of its objectives.

Assessment methods and criteria
Analyssis of the Student's Portfolio

To receive a credit students need to turn in observation and sitting-in on classes protocols focused on the respective discussed topics.
