Course content
1. Pre-school education in the Czech Republic in the context of the EU education policy. 2. Framework education programme for pre-school education in the system of curricular documents. 3. Concept of pre-school education depending on social conditions and approach to a child in educational concepts.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic Lecture(Interpretation, Training), Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Work with Text (with Book, Textbook), Methods of Written Work

Learning outcomes
The course gives students basic information about pre-school education in Czech republic in the context of EU educational policy. After the course, student will be able to describe actual tendencies in Czech pre-school education. The students will also understand The Frame Educational Program for pre-school education in the system of curriculum documents. Last but not least, the students will understand the conception of pre-school education depending on the social conditions and the concept of the child in educational philosophies.
Students will be provided with competencies that will get to the content and objectives of the course.
Prerequisites
General orientation in education and general didactics.

Assessment methods and criteria
Didactic Test, Dialog, Systematic Observation of Student, Questionnaire, Anamnestic Method

Student will be aware of the basic issues of pre-school education in the Czech Republic as well as in the context of international education policy with emphasis on the EU countries.
