Course content
Europeanization of criminal law. European criminal law in the context of the Council of Europe and EU before and after Lisbon Treaty. Police and judicial cooperation in the EU: EUROJUST, EUROPOL, OLAF, EPPO. European arrest warrant. European confiscation order, evidence warrant and investigation order. Criminal law of European union - substantive.

Learning outcomes
This subject is focused on the changes in the criminal law of European countries caused by the process of European integration both within the European Union and within the Council of Europe. Special attention will be focused on the cooperation of the criminal justice within the European zone, e.g. the issue of handing over of persons for legal prosecution, or serving the sentence, tools for detecting organized crime, the fight against terrorism etc.
Students who have completed this subject will gain knowledge about the issues of European criminal law connected with the process of European integration.
Prerequisites
Completion of this subject is not conditional upon completion of another subject.
