Course content
|
The developmental psychology, as a basic psychological discipline, observes the longlife development of Man. It provides an orientation to the mental development of human individual from its prenatal development up to old age inclusive of dying. Besides the ordinary description of developmental changes attending single life phases, the given subject provides information on development regularities and, first of all, on factors affecting the development of human psyche.

Learning outcomes
|
Developmental psychology will focus in these lessons on a periodization of individual's development in early stages. Part of the subject will be dedicated to practical illustration of prenatal development and information about emotional experience of gravidity, puerperium and breast-feeding. The extra hours will be devoted to the chapter on birth and a primipara's emotional situation.
Students will be eligible explanations of terms and definitions from the field of psychology
