Course content
Concept of personality in psychology and its determination - overview, examples. The essence and development of ego, content analysis of personality - temperament, cognition, motivation, intelligence. Approaches to studying the personality. Dimensions of human nature. Questions of intelligence, emotions, stress and perception of meaning of life.

Learning outcomes
An introduction to studies in personality psychology. Historical and philosophical sources of personality psychology, selected personality theories and their impact on the approach toward study of an individual. Determining factors that impact the formation of an individual's personality, approaches to personality study. The dimensions of personality, the structure and dynamics pf personality, the contents of a personality, and relational analysis. Methods of personality psychology, possibilities for developing extrospective and introspective skills. Personality in stressful situations, quality of life, subjective experience of the meaning of one's own existence. Practical importance and functions of psychology diagnostics. Professional ethics. Protodiagnostics. Critical points and errors in psychological diagnostics.
Students will be eligible explanations of terms and definitions from the field of psychology
