Learning outcomes
The main goal of the given subject is to familiarize students with the basic forms of youth and children's mental development pathology. Therefore the content of the subject will draw upon the connection to various determinants (motor, sense, mental, social causes) of human mental development. The purpose is to obtain basic skills of these determinants and their implementation. The subject focuses on: 1. Review of children's mental development disorders and specific psychopathological manifestations, the definition of psychopathology 2. Problematic child at school, her/his relationships in family and child group. 3. Problems of normality and pathology. 4. Diagnostics of children's psychopathological manifestation. 5. Psychic deprivation and subdeprivation. 6. Children's neurotic development. 7. Learning and behavioral disorders (Minimal Brain Dysfunction, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder), disharmonic personality development. 8. Psychological problems of integration, abnormality of mental development of children with motor, sense and social disadvantages.
