Topics of lectures Introduction to the subject, conditions for course completion Methods of scientific work Technique of scientific work Formal requirements of thesis - in general Scientist, scientific ideas, scientific knowledge, scientific rights; scientific infrastructure; subject, methods of legal science Scientific ethics, scientific competition; scientific politics Formal and substantive requisites of law qualifying theses; theses and reports; legal methodology background, legal argumentation, content structure; evaluation methodology

Learning outcomes
The main objective of the course is to deepen and broaden the students' theoretical knowledge in the issues of scientific research and the preparation of a thesis. The lectures will focus on general methods of scientific research, scientific research in the field of law and legal science, methods of organization of scientific research and the formal aspect of scientific outputs and theses. The student will be able to successfully write a thesis and apply scientific methods in future employment.

The completion of this course is not conditioned upon completion of any other courses.

Seminar Work

Lectures are compulsory, each student must attend at least 50% of the lectures, submission of a seminar paper
