Course content
Leisure time and leisure time pedagogy and its historical development. Environments of educational evaluation of leisure time: family, peer groups, local environment, school, school clubs and out of school institutions, civic groups, media, societal leisure time of children, youths and adults policy. Structure and organisation of leisure time activities.

Learning outcomes
The aim of this subject is to provide information about using leisure time in various periods of man´s ontogenesis. Also to inform about relaxation, recreational and social-preventive importance of leisure time and teaching skills of projecting the purposeful use of leisure time.
Students will acquire competence to understand the problems of leisure and educational work in this field.
Prerequisites
Basic knowledges of general pedagogy.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student performance

Students elaborate an essay in the extent of at least 4 standard pages, pertaining to the issues of a given institution or organization, tending to children and youth during their free time (Junák, Sokol, Orel, Pionýr, Brontosaurus movement, etc.).
