Italian Politics is a one-semester optional course. The main attention is given to major characteristics and specifics of Italian politics. The course follows the features of so called First Italian Republics, its creation, forming and funtioning of party system, period of Italian transition to the Second Italian Republic and transformation of party system and politics changes.
The aim od the course Italian Politics is understanding of the functioning of Italian political system, its major features, institutional framework, political culture and political processes. The main attention is given to major characteristics and specifics of Italian politics. The course follows the features of so called First Italian Republics, its creation, forming and funtioning of party system, period of Italian transition to the Second Italian Republic and transformation of party system and politics changes.

Prerequisites
|
Course Italian Politics is an one-semester optional course. It is primarily designed for the students of DPES with the knowledge of basic politological concepts (it is not recommended to the first year students).

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Written exam
Condition of successfull completion of the course is active presence in seminars (maximum of two absences is tolerated), knowledge of basic and recommended literature and seminar readings, presentation in the seminar framework which is a condition of granting a course credit unit, successfull accomplishment of written test.
