Learning outcomes
The course is focused on the basic range of topics of philosophy of science in the analytical tradition. Main topics: scientific explanation and laws, structure of scientific theories, testing of scientific hypotheses, development of sciences, etc. Systematic investigation of the conceptual network of mostly natural sciences. The course will involve reading and analysing of seminal texts, classic and contemporary.
Knowledge of problems of philosophy of science and the related terminology
