Course content
Discipline covers the basics of the methodology of foreign language, methods, forms, work with vocabulary, the development of language skills, including learning strategies.Working with video material in teaching a foreign language, vocabulary and learning strategies, teaching materials for elementary foreign language teaching, new methods and procedures for foreign language teaching (eg. Autonomous learning, project based learning), working with students with learning disabilities within FLT Processing learning units.

Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Activating (Simulations, Games, Dramatization)

Learning outcomes
After completing the course, students should be able to: create with the help of video material appropriate activities for the development of language skills, gain awareness of the possibilities of development of vocabulary in foreign language learning, to analyze the types of teaching materials for the initial teaching of a foreign language, to develop suitable materials for initial teaching foreign language according to predetermined criteria, learn new methods and procedures appropriate for early foreign language teaching, develop a project with elements of interdisciplinarity, gain awareness of foreign language teaching for pupils with specific learning disabilities, to be able to document and present their skills presentations processed exercises for teaching pupils with specific learning disabilities, able to prepare teaching unit for initial teaching a foreign language.
Students are familiar with the basic terminology of didactics and methodology of foreign language. The student is able , on the basis of acquired knowledge to actively communicate , discuss and argue the thematic lines defined seminar.
Prerequisites
Active knowledge of German language, communication skills and creative thinking. An active approach to teaching students. Performance continuously given tasks.

Oral exam, Student performance

Ongoing implementation of assigned tasks and participation in education. Create your own project in the applicable German language teaching at primary schools.
