Course content

Project teaching, basic characteristics, positives and negatives. Project creation phase. Types of projects. Projects beyond one subject, inter-subject relationships within projects. Projects implemented under 1 subject. Project teaching and the Internet. E-mail projects. Evaluation within project teaching. Project instruction and textbook.

Learning outcomes
|
After completing the course, students should be able to: - to explain the contribution of project teaching to the teaching of foreign languages - to clarify the working procedures in the processing of the project - to design, create, plan your own project applicable in the teaching of the German language at primary school - to analyse, evaluate and create projects designed for teaching a foreign language on 2nd st. IP.
Students will acquire basic information and knowledge from theory, familiar with terms related to project education and is able to create a project for primary school pupils.

Prerequisites

Active knowledge of German language, communication skills and creative thinking.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Student performance, Seminar Work
Active participation in seminars, processing and presentation created project. Students work up project with elements of interdisciplinarity, applicable in German language teaching 2nd St. Elementary School.
