Topics: - Tones and tone system. Properties of tones. Tones increased and decreased. The whole tone, semitone, enharmonics, diatonic and chromatic semitone. - Note records. Names of tones, keys, accidentals, division and extension of notes and rests. - Tone pitch class and tone systems. - Measure, táme and rhythm. - Performing and other indications. Italian terminology. Tempo indications. Dynamics and dynamic marks. Marking of different way of playing and singing. Expersiion signatures. Melodic ornaments. Shortcuts in notation. - The major and minor scale with sharps and flats. Quint and quart circle. Samename scales and parallel scales. - Old scales, special scales, whole-tone and chromatic scales. - Intervals of basic and derived. Revers of intervals, enharmonic intervals, the intervals overlapping an octave. - Triad and their turns. - Seventhchords and their turns, ninthchords and their turns. - Music acoustics. Simple and compound tones, noises. Overtone series. Pitch, volume and color of sound. Consonance and dissonance. Systems of tuning. - Musical instruments and singing voices. Music ansambles and scores.

The goal is to repeat and broaden music theory fundamentals needed for further study of music theoretical disciplines.
Practical mastering fundamentals of music theory - especially the safe knowledge of scales, intervals, chords and Italian terminology, musical instruments. |
