Learning outcomes
The purpose of the course is to revise, organize, and systematize the mathematical knowledge which students acquired at primary and secondary schools, and to enrich it by adding selected chapters of mathematics, which may have been neglected at some secondary schools. Great attention will be paid to the creation of optimal conditions for balancing individual students` skills so that they will be able to equal students of mathematical disciplines in the terms of study to come. The emphasis will be put on solving practical problems in mathematics.
The knowledge gained in the course RM is a prerequisite for successful learning other subjects. Within the framework of the curriculum, this course will be followed by courses Mathematics 1, Mathematics 2, Mathematics 3 and Mathematics 4.
Prerequisites
Successful completion of the course are basic mathematical skills gained by studying at primary and secondary school.

Assessment methods and criteria
