Course content
|
The course Cinema and Spirituality deals with the intersection of spiritual life, different forms of its experience in different religious societies or social groups, and its cinematic expression. This takes specific forms according to the inner spiritual experiences of the filmmakers themselves, the expression of the telling of specific human stories (if the film is narrative), the choice of colours, lighting, composition, camera. Films connected with the narrative value in the field of spirituality also reveal what society is living at that moment and what is manifested as a sign of the times.

Based on the images viewed, it will be easier for the student to see the sensitive places of his/her own life and to descend into his/her inner self. Learning Outcomes: - Self-knowledge in the area of one's own spiritual life and experience - Writing a reflection on the impact of the connection between the film and the student's lived spirituality
