Course content
The explication of terms ecumenical and interreligious dialogue from historical, contentual and formal point of view; the main structures and norms of Catholic Church for this dialogues; the overview of the basic dialogues and their outcomes; the significance for social relations and social work.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the subject is to give the students of non-theological disciplines an orientation in problematics of ecumenical and interreligious dialogues, their history and the main issues. The subject innovation has been supported by the project Support of Interdisciplinary studies and Study Programmes Innovations at Palacký University in Olomouc, CZ.1.07/2.2.00/28.0091.
The subject will facilitate the understanding of specifics of interconfessional and interreligious dialogues in comparison with other forms of communication and will give the main fulcra for orientation in topics of the relationships between Christian confessions and world religions.
Prerequisites
The knowlege of the basic categories of the sciences about the religion.
