Course content
1. Fundamentals of macroeconomics. 2. Macroeconomic cycle and macroeconomic analysis. 3. Measurements of macroeconomic outputs. 4. Aggregate demand and supply, analysis of AS and AD curves. 5. Economic growth - its analysis, models of economic growth, growth accounting. 6. Economic cycle, analysis of multiplication and accelerative effects in economy. 7. Macroeconomic equilibrium - Keynes model of income determination, IS-LM model, AS-AD model. 8. Macroeconomic imbalance - inflation and unemployment. 9. Function of government in economy - internalization of externalities, economic policy, its aims and efficiency. 10. Money - demand, supply, equilibrium at financial market, money multiplier. Monetary policy. 11. Fiscal policy and incomes policy. 12. International economics, balance of payments. 13. Economic integration and supranational economic policy.
