Course content
The concept of liturgy, liturgy as a science in a historical context; the nature of the Christian liturgy; liturgy as a communication process, word and gestures in the liturgy; natural elements in liturgy, liturgical objects; liturgical assembly - persons and services in the liturgy. Liturgical space; liturgy and art. Conception and conception of time, counting time in liturgy; liturgy in history; liturgy in the passing of time: daily, weekly and yearly circuit, sunday, liturgical year. The subject has a study support.

Learning outcomes
The Fundamental Liturgy will introduce basic liturgical facts: the concept of liturgy, liturgy as a science in a historical context; the nature of the Christian liturgy; liturgy as a communication process, word and gestures in the liturgy; natural elements in liturgy, liturgical objects; liturgical assembly - persons and services in the liturgy. Liturgical space; liturgy and art. The aim is to acquaint with thematic areas of intertwining of liturgy and time: conception and conception of time, counting time in liturgy; liturgy in history; liturgy in the passing of time: daily, weekly and yearly circuit, sunday, liturgical year.
At the end of the course, students will be able to: orient themselves in basic liturgical terms and realities, identify basic liturgical topics, interpret and critically assess individual liturgical forms and structures, identify, interpret and distinguish basic elements of Christian liturgy.
Prerequisites
To successfully complete the study duties, the student should know and be able to: understand theological terms and realities, have basic knowledge of religious studies, work with professional texts and literature, analyze thinking and draw conclusions from the scientific text, work with distance support.

Oral exam, Written exam, Dialog, Written exam

To complete the course, it is necessary to work with the study support and complete the tasks for at least the minimum number of points. Furthermore, it is active participation in lectures and successful completion of the final written test.
