Learning outcomes
|
Students will gain knowledge necessary to understand the nature of social work in the social system. They become familiar with the conceptual apparatus, with ethic of social work, with types of clients and person of social worker included key competencies, which are used in social work.
Social work as a social-science discipline, including the practical activities, whose aim is to support clients in individual social functioning with regard to the comprehensive approach to man. Detection, mitigation and resolution of social problems in society with regard to specific target groups of clients and their needs, using individual potential of each of them.

- the orientation in social policy.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Written exam, Seminar Work
- self -study of recommended literature; - presentation of individual work at the seminar; - participation of student on the discussion; - final written test.
