Course content
Intervention is one of the main methods used by a social educator in the exercise of their profession. This is a planned and conscious activity aimed at effective change the conduct of individuals. To plan such activities must have a social educator needed skills: ability to understand the nature of the problem and on the basis of this understanding to be able to use appropriate methods and procedures that will lead to the desired changes.

Monologic Lecture(Interpretation, Training), Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming)
Learning outcomes
- Knowledge and skills in the area of intervention - Knowledge of methods and forms of work with different target groups in the intervention (functional and non-functional methods of intervention) - Knowledge and skills for creating and planning individual and group intervention programs for different target groups of social education - Knowledge and skills evaluations of intervention programs
- Deepening the knowledge of the principles and functioning of intervention - Extension of theoretical knowledge to the practice of social pedagogue - competence to create, plan, and organize intervention programs for different target groups of social pedagogy

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral exam

Group discussion: Based on the theoretical framework of the justification of the selected intervention program.
