Course content
Basic grammar, basic conversation topics, listening exercises, thematic vocabulary, basics of technical terminology.

Learning outcomes
Foreign languages, from which students can choose: English, German, Italian. The course is designed for students with a minimum level of A1.2, the emphasis is on mastering the basic grammar, predetermined conversational areas, including listening exercises, a significant expansion of vocabulary, including the basics of professional terminology. In case of interest, the course can be implemented for students with zero initial level, it is necessary to take into account a more intensive pace and the need for individual preparation.
After finishing the course students will have mastered the basic grammar, predetermined conversational areas, including listening exercises, a significant amount of new vocabulary, including the basics of professional terminology.
Prerequisites
The course is designed for students with a minimum level of A1,2.

Assessment methods and criteria
Written exam

Active participation during lessons (max. 2 missed classes), pass the test successfully (70%), work with predetermined texts - reading, analysis, translation.
