Course content
|
Through field trips, students will gain experience with the operations of at least two institutions (depending on the current situation and priorities in the field of social work with children and youth) in the area of social work with children and youth. Typical institutions may include child welfare agencies, social activation services, social service facilities, residential care facilities, and the like.

Learning outcomes

The aim of the field trip is to gain experience with the operations of at least two institutions (depending on the current situation and priorities in the field of social work with children and youth) in the area of social work with children and youth. Typical institutions include child welfare agencies, social activation services, social service facilities, residential care facilities, and the like.
Understanding the activities of a selected social work institution, with a particular focus on work with families, children, and youth, including gaining insight into the duties of a social worker through a field trip.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Final Report
Students are required to use the course materials available through the Edis LMS and complete the assigned tasks. Active participation in the seminar is required.
