Seminar Topics: 1. Strafrechtliche Grundlagen (Rechtsquellen des Strafrechts, Strafrecht im Rechtssystem, Verhaltensnormen und Sanktionsnormen) 2. Materielles Strafrecht Grundbegriffe: Straftat (Begehungsdelikte und Unterlassungsdelikte), Straftäter, Strafen, 3. Straftat: Von der Vorbereitung bis zur Beendigung, Merkmale, Vorsatz, Fahrlässigkeit, Rechtswidrigkeit, Rechtfertigungsgründe 4. Strafen: Arten von Strafen. 5. Die Person des Straftäters: Täterschaft und Teilnahme (Haupttäter, Mittäter, Mittelbare Täterschaft, Anstiftung, Beihilfe) 6. Das deutsche Strafgesetzbuch (Struktur)- Anwendungsbereich, Grundsätze (nulla poena sine lege, nulla poena sine culpa), Aufbau einer strafrechtlichen Norm 7. Straftaten gegen das Leben und Gesundheit - Objektiver Tatbestand, Fälle Rechtsanwendung 8. Straftaten gegen die Freiheit, gegen das Vermögen und andere Straftaten 9. Strafprozessrecht I. - Erkenntnis- und Vollstreckungsverfahren, Person des Täters Stellung in einzelnen Verfahrensstadien, Prozessmaximen 10. The basic of the subject is the terminology of criminal material and procedural law and the foundations of the system of the german or austrian criminal law.
This subject extends language skills and knowledge of the German legal language. Lessons are specialized in criminal law. |

In order to get the credit it is essential that the students have a regular attendance in the scope set by the seminar leader. The students must also complete the tasks assigned by the teacher, like essay, presentation and test. |
