Learning outcomes
This course builds on the elective courses "2. Professional Foreign Language 1" and "2. Professional Foreign Language 2," which are offered starting in the first year. Thematically, it focuses on German and, to some extent, Austrian constitutional lawthe legislative, executive, and judicial branches, fundamental rights, and constitutional adjudication. In addition to specialized terminology and a basic overview of the legal framework, the course also covers essential grammatical features typical of legal language and aims to develop listening comprehension and speaking skills. The goal of this course and the subsequent semester is for students to master, in German, a comparison with Czech constitutional law in terms of both content and language.
Students who have completed this subject will deepen knowledge and skills in the field of technical legal terminology and will become familiar with german legal system.
Prerequisites
Completion of this subject is conditional upon successful completion of the subject M2NJ2.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student performance

In order to get the credit it is essential that the students have a regular attendance in the scope set by the seminar leader. The students must also complete the tasks assigned by the teacher.
