Learning outcomes
In the second year the students continue with the compulsory 1st foreign language course chosen in the first year. This course extends the knowledge of professional legal terminology covering the issues connected with the EU with the focus on technical legal texts and their analysis. The course is taught in the foreign language chosen.
This subject enhances the abilities and skills of both, spoken as well as written technical legal language with focus on technical terminology connected with the Law of EU and the topics discussed (European integration, EU authorities and their powers, the powers of the EU - policies, legal order of the EU). There is a strong emphasis on the abilities of the students to understand and communicate in the foreign technical legal language.
Prerequisites
Completion of this subject is conditioned by the successful completion of the subject JAZ2N.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student performance

In order to get the credit for the written test the students must attend the seminars in the extent required by the tutor and they must also meet all the requirements set by the tutor for the specific type of seminar.
