Course content
|
The content of seminars is a practical introduction into theory and practice - from various types of archival tool including editions, through inventorying and cataloguing, to organisation of reserachers´ paperwork, promotional and publishing activitiesof an archive. The attention is also paid to a physical state of sources. The excursion will aim at Brno archive. HF

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of seminars is to provide students with basic knowledge of archival theory and practice thanks to the introduction into various types of compilation, inventorying and making archives accessible. Students are gradually familiar with various types of archival tools, archives´preservation, lending to researchers, microfilms, digitalization, conservation or renovation of archives. A seminar will be also supplemented by excursions. HF
A student gets basic knowledge of archival theory and practice - from compilation through evidence to making sources accessible and also preservation. HF

There are no special prerequisities, except for the participation in the course: Archival science 1,2. HF

Student performance
Active class and excursion participation, carry out the tasks - papers and reviews. HF
