Course content
Latin philology and literature of the High and Late Middle Ages. The lectures are connected with reading and analysis of examples from literary and diplomatic texts.

Learning outcomes
The subject tunes to Medieval Latin 1. In the Spring term will be focused on Latin philology and literature of the High and Late Middle Ages. The lectures are connected with reading and analysis of examples from literary and diplomatic texts. The student will get a survey of literature of High Middle Ages and Late Middle Ages and of to translate and read medieval Latin texts.
Prerequisites
Passing the course Medieval Latin 1 or a similar survey of medieval literature in an equivalent spectrum.
Assessment methods and criteria
Oral exam, Written exam Active particiúation in the course, preparation of homework. Combined exam: translation of a medieval Latin text with the help of a dictionary and oral examination.
