Course content
1. Selections and assignments of presentation, topics will reflect current discussions in the problematics. 2. - 5. Consultations and discussions with lecturer according to studied information sources and preparation of presentations. 6. - 7. Students presentations and discussion about presented topics. 8. - 9. Work on the team project, proposition of content and methodology, distribution of project tasks. 10. - 11. Consultations and discussions with lecturer about the team project according to distributed tasks. 12. - 13. Team presentation of project, discussion.

Learning outcomes
Seminar is deepening the subject matter from lectures throughout other topics about methodology and interpretations in paleolithic and Mesolithic archeology according the latest publications. Students will prepare a presentation with use of the recommended scientific literature connected to the problematics and after that they will present their work in form of a short lecture followed by the common discussion. Another goal is team work on a group project, e.g. proposal of archaeological IS for complex management of research data sets; a model proposal of grant project, design of archaeological experimental project etc.
Proficiency in the problematics, survey in current literature, ability to apply appropriate methodology to theconcrete Paleolithic/Mesolithic research, improvement of writing and presentation abilities and abilities of team cooperation.
Prerequisites
Basic proficiency in the problematics of Paleolithic and Mesolithic periods at the level of Bachelor's degree, basic literature overview, study of course Methods and Interpretation of Paleolithic Research, completion of course Current trends in Paleolithic and Mesolithic archeology in Winter semester is recommended as well as submission to course Mobile Artefacts in Paleolithic and Mesolithic Era in Spring semester.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student performance

Attendance in classes, (26 hours = 1 credits); study of informational sources (25 hours = 1 credit); preparation of presentation and team project (25 hours = 1 credit).
