Course content
Lecturers and practical exercises with movable collections of archaeological finds. Basic treatment of the material, preservation and restoration, drawn and photographic documentation, physical evidence and inventory. Lessons of computer evidence into archaeological database programs (DEMUS - Archaeology). Individual visits and group work of head of laboratory head directly with the student. AD

  • Attendace - 24 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
Acquiring of the practical experience of work with the archeological finds material. AD
Gaining skills in - sorting, basic cleaning, conservating, restoring and inventoring of discovered movable archaeological material. Knowledge of work in the archaeological museum database for inventoring of collections Demus - Archaeology. Knowledge of draw and photographic documentation of archaeological finds. AD
Prerequisites
The basic overview in the archeological cultures of middle Europe. AD

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral exam, Systematic Observation of Student, Seminar Work

The active participation in the excercises. AD
