Course content
This semester we will have lessons on the following topics: weather, orientation in the city, family members, occupations, housing, media, travel (Bornholm) and the expression of emotions. From grammar in addition to what is stated in the "Aims" of the study in the 4th semester, grammatical phenomena such as complex composites, prepositions for geographical names, sentences with indefinite expression of the subject, declension of substantial adjectives and participles, etc. are assumed to be learnt .

Learning outcomes
In the fourth semester of Danish, which is supposed to be finished with a language exam, the main goal is to prepare for it. During the lessons, students will continue with the textbook Aktivt dansk, as well as the will get to know new grammar and practice the grammar they already know. This semester students will learn the difference between the verbs "at tro" and "at synes", express the future and past tense, get acquainted with irregular verbs and learn how to express the possessive pronoun with reflexive meaning. Depending on the time possibilities, there will be more facts about Denmark presented, for example in the fields of literature, philosophy, etc.
During the four semesters of Danish language study, students are expected to achieve a minimum of A2 level as defined by the Common European Framework of Reference, a document developed by the Council of Europe.
Prerequisites
Prerequisite for study in the 4th semester of Danish is completion of previous courses.

Assessment methods and criteria
Dialog

Students have completed 3 courses and have a corresponding knowledge of the Danish language. To receive credit for LS in this course, the following is required: completion of short assignments outside of class and active participation in class (max. 3 absences). Interested students can register for the exam after completing the 4th language course.
