Course content
Main topics: 1. Main concepts, approaches, and topics in environmental geography and related disciplines 2. Environmental governance and environmental management theory, 3. Air pollution, 4. Climate change, 5. Land loss and land use, 6. Water pollution and scarcity, 7. Biodiversity loss 8. Waste management.

Learning outcomes
Students will gain a basic overview of the content of environmental geography studies. The course also focuses on understanding the specific relationships between people/society, and the environment, with an emphasis on spatial aspects.
