Course content
The course is designed as a series of half-day excursions in Olomouc and its immediate surroundings. In the field, we will document the knowledge gained in the areas of urbanism and spatial planning (construction, transport, ecology), municipal policy, and the perception of the city and its historical changes. The issues will be presented in various urban and suburban environments.

Learning outcomes
The course is designed as a practical field course. Students will be introduced to selected problems of human and regional geography directly in the field.
Understanding the interrelationship between space and society.
Prerequisites
The prerequisite is the completion of the subjects Municipal Economics and Municipal Policy (a); Urbanism and Spatial Planning (b).

Assessment methods and criteria
Dialog, Written exam

Before fieldwork, students will be referred to selected lectures from other relevant subjects, which will be necessary to study. The subject concludes with a written test that verifies the knowledge acquired in a specific area.
