Course content
|
This course covers the following topics: housing as a research topic and its interdisciplinary nature; the position of housing in geographical research; the legal framework for housing; data sources on housing; housing in the Czech Republic in the context of other European countries; spatial differentiation of housing in the Czech Republichistory, present, and future prospects; housing policy and regional development.

Learning outcomes
|
In the course, students will be acquainted with the fundamental geographical and interdisciplinary causality of housing.
Upon completion of the course, students will be able to navigate the field's terminology and describe and interpret the spatial distribution of housing and residential development in the context of other geographic phenomena.

|
Knowledge within the scope of compulsory courses that precede this course in the study plan.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Seminar Work, Written exam
Active participation in class; knowledge of the material covered in lectures and the assigned reading; preparation and presentation of term papers meeting the required standards.
