Course content
|
The basis of the subject is the practical application of physical-geographical and human-geographical research methods in a specific region. The evaluation will be focused on the spatial component of the information obtained with an emphasis on its final synthesis. In the final stage of the exercise, students analyze and interpret the information obtained and present their own alternatives for research and field teaching for primary and secondary school students.

Learning outcomes
|
The course is designed as theoretical preparation for practical field teaching (a) in conjunction with practical field teaching and the possibilities of its use in teaching at primary and secondary schools (b). Students will become familiar with selected topics of physical and human geography directly in the field.
Understanding the interrelationships among space, nature, and society, and skills for conducting research and field teaching.

Basic knowledge of the partial disciplines of physical and human geography and of geography methodology.
