Course content
Course presents: geomorphology in system of sciences; geomorphologic schools and development of geomorphologic opinions; structure of the Earth (seismic model), geotectonical hypotheses, theory of litospheric plates; endogenous geomorphologic processes (volcanic activity and landforms, earthquakes and influence of landforms development); structural geomorphology - rock characteristics and their role in landforms developments, structural landforms, structural geomorphology of ocean bed; dynamic geomorphology - weathering, slope, fluvial, karst, cryogenic (glacial, nivation and periglacial), eolic, marine, biogenic processes and landforms; anthropogenic geomorphology.
