Course content
|
Field excursion in historical geology. Study of geological formations on the territory of the Bohemian Massif. Stratigraphically important localities, minerals, rocks, fossils, structural and tectonic features, relation to higher lithostratigraphical and biostratigraphical units and complexes.

Learning outcomes
|
Field excursion in historical geology.
The students will: - acquire field knowledge of the geological formations on the territory of the Bohemian Massif - be able to describe stratigraphically important localities, their structural and tectonic features, rock and fossil records - relate them to higher lithostratigraphic and biostratigraphic units

Prerequisites
|
Knowledge of historical geology, regional geology of Czech Republic and geological mapping.
|
Assessment methods and criteria
|
Oral exam
Passed prerequisite course, 5 days active presence, submission of written and material field documentation, corresponding knowledge
