Výstupy z učení
|
This course is dedicated to reading and interpretation of Maurice Merleau-Ponty's book "The Structure of Behavior" (1942) and the clarification of its influence on the recent "embodied cognition" theories, in particular, Varela, Thompson, and Rosch's "The Embodied Mind" (1991) and Thompson's "Mind in Life" (2010). On a more general level, the course explores the possibilities of mutual enrichment between philosophy and empirical science, especially phenomenology and cognitive science.
