Course content
|
Lectures: 1. Muscle test according to Prof. Janda. 2. Introduction to the kinesiology of the foot. 3. Introduction to the kinesiology of the hip and knee. 4. Introduction to the kinesiology of the cervical spine and shoulder girdle. 5. Introduction to trunk kinesiology 6. Revision, supplementary topics. Practical sessions: 1. Basic principles of topographical palpation, basics of topographical palpation of the arm and shoulder girdle, introduction to muscle testing, functional muscle testing of the upper limb - Part 1 2. Basics of topographical palpation of the hand and forearm, functional muscle testing of the upper limb - Part 2 3. Basics of topographical palpation of the thigh, hip joint and pelvis, functional muscle testing of the lower limb - Part 1 4. Basics of topographical palpation of the foot and lower leg, functional muscle testing of the lower limb - Part 2 5. Basics of topographical palpation of the trunk and pelvis, functional muscle testing of the trunk 6. Basics of topographical palpation of the neck and head, functional muscle testing of the head, revision. 7. Introduction to kinesiological examination, taking a medical history, kinesiological examination of standing and walking. 8. Basic examination of the ankle, knee and hip joints. 9. Basic examination of the shoulder, elbow and wrist joints.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of this module, building on the ZKV1 module, is to familiarise students with the basics of kinesiology relating to selected segments of the human body, the basics of topographical palpation and kinesiological examination.
The student is able to carry out a basic kinesiological assessment of a patient and take a medical history. They have an understanding of the kinesiology of the basic segments of the human body, basic examination methods, muscle testing, goniometry and anthropometry.

Prerequisites
|
A prerequisite for studying this module is a sufficient knowledge of anatomy and successful completion of the ZKV1 module.
