Course content
Theory of senzomotoric stimulation. Indications and contraindications of using overballs, gymballs and other unstable equipment. Exercises for increasing muscle strength. Exercises for improving postural stability. Exercises for increasing range of motion of joints. Using of overballs/gymballs for for games.

Learning outcomes
Students learn about overball exercise concept, which they can use for maintaining or improving functions of locomotor system. The main goals of the lessons are to inform students about sensomotoric stimulation and to teach students how they can provide the therapy. Overball exercise concept can be used for improvement of muscle strength, coordination, endurance, relaxation and for balance training. Overball exercise concept can be used not only for rehabilitation but also for training sessions, aerobic exercise, school and work mini-breakes or as a support cushion.
Student will be able to use overball exercise concept for rehabilitation/recondition treatment. He/she will know the main exercise guides for this type of training. Student will know exacly when he/she is not allowed to use this kind of exercise (i.e. student is able to list contra-indications).
