Learning outcomes

The aim of the course is to strengthen students' perceptual and analytical skills in viewing specific developmental tendencies and creative strategies in world and domestic theatre and dance cultures, in crossover of theoretical and historiographical perspectives.
The student will deepen his/her professional knowledge in the field of the most contemporary tendencies in theatre, dance and performance, will be able to grasp them terminologically correctly, subject them to a thorough (discursive) analysis and mutual comparison.

The course is a combination of a lecture and a seminar, with the active involvement of the students in the discussion of the individual topics. Preparation and presentation of the chosen topic and leading the subsequent discussion on the scope of the whole one teaching block; it is also assumed that there will be an interest in the thematic performances seen together, to which the discussion in the course will be linked.
