Course content
|
Students work with period sources and secondary literature. They study the art works creation principles, staging and acting style, connecting the troupes and outstanding personalities with their respective historical context

Learning outcomes
|
The seminars support the course Chapters from Czech theatre history. The students use their knowledge acquired in lectures, work with relevant literature, with dramatic works and with sources.
The students will acquire the skills and potentials of analysis of theatre phenomena, they will learn to work with dramatic text as with the sources of information about staging practise of the period. They acquire ability to characterise art production principles, staging and acting style, they should be able to connect the troupes and outstanding personalities with their respective historical context.

Prerequisites
|
The course is meant for students who have already attended or attend the course from the Czech theatre of 20th century.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Student performance, Systematic Observation of Student, Seminar Work
The students have to attend at least 75% of the lectures. Every student will have to present their papers and to discuss the relevant topics.
