Course content
Main areas: the legal status of Churches and their public and private juridical persons, provision of ecclesiastical offices, pastoral care in public institutions, medical and charitable facilities of Churches, marriage and education, educational systems, medias, financing of Churches, religious exceptions and conscientious objections.

Learning outcomes
Gewinnung der Orientierung in der Problematik der gegenwärtigen Modelle von Beziehungen zwischen Staat und Kirchen einschließlich der Lösungsarten in den einzelnen Problembereichen. Obtaining of orientation in the actual models of relations between state and Church, including the types of solution regulations in the various problem areas.
Students use the acquired knowledge in their practical life and in the folowing studies.

No special prerequisites are required to study the subject.

Assessment methods and criteria
Analysis of linguistic

Active use of German language, elaboration of papers, participation at lessons at least of 70 %.
