Course content
The subject of moral values in ancient myths will be established on a basic familiarity with ancient mythology, which assumes that the student has gained not only in high school, but also in the Bachelor's degree. Furthermore, the seminar will build on the knowledge gained in compulsory subjects Education and the character and values and education. Mentioned will also be discussed elaboration of moral values in some particularly well-known books and movies for children and youth.

Monologic Lecture(Interpretation, Training), Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming)
Learning outcomes
- Students will be guided to a mythological stories, peering from the perspective of their future teaching practice and watching them in formulating moral values - Awareness of the current update submitted moral issues or conflicts, - Assessment solution that presents myth and considering its applicability in the present, or looking for a better solution (examples: Antigone - Relationships between siblings under the pressure of external circumstances, Faethon - respect the experience of older generations) - Literary reception of ancient myths in a Christian environment.
The ability to listen carefully to the ancient mythological stories and watch their reach in completing the formulation and moral values of the reader or listener.
Prerequisites
No special prerequisites are required to study the subject.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral exam

At the colloquium student through an oral interview demonstrates that he is able to recognize the ancient mythological stories and expressions of moral values that can mull appropriate to emphasize these values in the teaching profession.
