Course content
Introduction to the guidelines and requirements for the preparation of a presentation. Individual student presentations focused on introducing the assigned master?s thesis topic. The presentation must be structured to include the objectives of the thesis, a brief theoretical introduction to the topic, methods, expected/obtained results, conclusions, and a plan of experimental work for the upcoming period. The seminar also includes presentations by department members on current projects and their research results, as well as lectures by invited experts on current topics in the field.

Learning outcomes
Improvement in the preparation and effective communication of scientific presentations, interpretation of obtained results, and formulation of conclusions. Enhancement of the student?s ability to actively participate in scientific discussions. A seminar focused on the latest trends and advances in the fields of biotechnology, biochemistry, and molecular biology.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student performance

The condition for obtaining credit is 100% participation in the seminar (replacement/additional work is possible up to two absences for serious reasons), preparation of presentations in accordance with the course description, and active participation in discussions on the topics discussed.
