| Course content |
|
The contents of the seminar are determined by these thematic areas: Linguistics and other disciplines. Various approaches to language. The nature of language and its formation (components). Language and text, speech acts. National language and its stratification. Conception of grammatical language and language structure. Functional differentiation of language. Language norm and codification, language usage. Contemporary philological workplaces and scholarly magazines. Aspects of Czech differentiation from other languages.
