Course content
The seminars correspond with a lecture on contemporary Czech literature, identifying and illustrating its basic trends and problems, mainly through analytical interpretations of works that are characteristic and typologically representative in the given context. Seminar students also learn to search for and critically reflect on secondary literature and develop their skills in working independently with texts in detail. Emphasis is also placed on the development of the seminarians' personal creativity and, last but not least, on the cultivation of communication skills, including through discussions with authors.

Learning outcomes
The seminars correspond with a lecture on contemporary Czech literature, identifying and illustrating its basic trends and problems, mainly through analytical interpretations of works that are characteristic and typologically representative in the given context. Active participation in seminars (max. 2 absences), presentation of 1 paper or 2 co-papers (if papers are not presented at the seminar, their written versions must be handed in), completion of tasks currently assigned in the seminar.
