Course content
Experimental work on the selected topic as a part of the Diploma work. Presentation of the results in the form of a seminar paper. The report must be structured on the objectives of the work, an introduction to the issue, methods, results/anticipated results and a conclusion.

Learning outcomes
Experimentální řešení zvolené problematiky.
Recognize and formulate the problem of a chosen or given topic from the field of biochemistry.
Prerequisites
This course is designed for students in the MSc Analytical Biochemist programme and is used to monitor progress in experimental activities for the thesis.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student performance, Systematic Observation of Student, Final Report

The student is required to submit a progress report on thesis work (2-4 pages A4), certified by his/her advisor. The report should be structured into: aims of the thesis, introduction in the field, methods, results/expected results and conclusions.
